The anti-human, anti-reality Greenist cult is about as rational a grouping as the pagans supporting Islam. For the obnoxious Greenist the modern world is a hateful, horrible place, full of polluting, noxious and Matrix-like parasitical humans. The human virus must be expunged. Cars, energy, production, jobs, economic vibrancy – all must be halted so that the human bacillus can be returned to the paleolithic era of communal happiness including poverty, stupidity, brutality and an early death. Greenist theology is a death cult.
There does not exist one single human on the planet who does not enjoy a nice tree, fresh grass, or a burbling stream full of fish. No one has ever heard someone else say, 'gee i wish all the trees were cut down and the streams and rivers black and strewn with garbage and debris. That would be nice.' Humans need a healthy pure environment out of selfish necessity. A well cared for environment nurtures human spirituality and purpose. Culturally and intellectually we need a positive, clean and healthy place of living including our homes, our offices and in nature. That is obvious.
Christianity for example expounds quite clearly a doctrine of eco-guardianship. In pre-industrial societies it was the land and the seasons which allowed for agricultural output, trade and a rise in living standards. Every successful society before our own had sustainable methods to wring out of poor old mother earth various products to feed the population. Those like the Mayans who destroyed the environment perished. Many like the Romans who could not build proper and regenerating systems of agro-output and agro-variety saw their economies slowly wither and with it their empire.
Modern businessess benefit more from a clean world, than from a dirty one. The cost of inputs rises as pollution and eco-destruction increase. Technology – cleaner, better, faster – makes for a fatter bottom line. Using technology properly will give firms advantages in the market place; better working conditions and a better mental outlook for their employees. There is no rational reason for a corporation to destroy the environment. If they do they need to be punished by all necessary legal measures.
The Greenists are marxist extremists. L. Ron Gore, the Sierra Club, WWF, Greenpeace et al. are cults dedicated to wiping out the modern world. It is bizarre and sick. It is not enough for the Greenist and their knuckle dragging friends to want clean water and air. That could actually be a positive contribution to keeping our world clean and prosperous. No, the Greenist movement is far more fascistically intolerant than a simple program of ensuring that there is a clean balance between man and mother earth. For the Greenist fascist man is the problem. He and all his methods must be expunged.
A simple example is transportation. Greenist fascists hate cars. Yet cars are far cleaner than using horses for example, which dump tonnes of dung onto city streets. Cars emit decreasing amounts of pollution as technology improves. Cars are for many people a mandatory necessity of life. With little real public transport, and far flung communities and travel, cars are one of the main tools of modern life. Society won't function without cars.
If you tell people 'no cars in our city' the following will happen: the economy will decline; businesses will leave; products will not be delivered; employers will lose employees; employees will lose jobs; tax revenues will fall; as taxes fall services fall; social life will decline; and the city will become uglified. Banning cars is the hallmark of Greenist fascist intolerance. The car is simply a linchpin of a modern, thriving economy. You might as well ban breathing as ban cars. The consequences of such an intolerant policy are enormous. What the Greenists are really saying is that individual freedom must be curtailed for the common good. How is this any different than communal doctrines espoused by National Socialism or Communism ?
The Greenists want to control your life and dictate your patterns in a brave new world of green-oriented socialised organisation. Your entire world of individualised choice, freedom and mobility must be sacrificed to the not-so-new mother earth cult [read the history of the Oracle at Delphi circa 1700 b.c.]. You the little knave, living in your over-priced bungalow in an urban desert called a suburb must take 4 hours of public transport to get to your work. Mother earth commands it. But L. Ron Gore and his friends will be flying the green-friendly skies to hit their next important speaking engagement. Would driving cars [no pun intended] from the road truly benefit anyone or prove anything ?
Taking cars out of urban and city life would promote an economic and social disaster. It would benefit the few [the green freaks, and old ladies living downtown who can take their dogs for a bladder release on the nice green grass covering what was once a highway]; and damage the many. Cars are an expression not only of freedom but a modern world. Why would anyone want to return to the good old paleothic days ?
But of course the Green fascists would not stop with cars. Think of the mighty bicycle. Once the fascists have you out of your car the bike will be their next target. A bike needs to be manufactured. It requires plastic, aluminium, light steel, vulcanised rubber, wire, leather and other materials. To build a bicycle requires the use of carbon and electrical energy. Carbon apparently destroyes the climate. It also feeds the energy grid. Since we can't use carbon, and the Green fascists don't like nuclear power we have a problem. Clearly bicycles should not be allowed.
The same logic would apply to shoes, to textiles indeed to canoes or snow shoes. If you want to ban cars why not ban other products, processes and uses of material which take or give off energy? How can you delimit the use of personal vehicles but espouse the creation of products which require great varieties and amounts of energy to produce? Or to look at it in another way, will the Greenist fascists make a list of products which meet regulations on energy input and usage ? Will all products including shoes, skis and wool sweaters be subject to the carbon-energy-input police?
Green facist logic dictates that all bikes must be banned. Only walking. And then the Greenies will tax walking since walking requires more food and water and bottled water and food require energy to produce. Ergo no more bottled water and rationed food, and of course a tax on mother earth destroying walking. Then some clown like Obama-Nobama will surely say in a sexy baritone voice...'you know we can't go on like this - walking around in our expensive shoes - do you know how much energy and carbon is emitted in shoe making....no my friends, for the good of the world, and to make America a new country, we need to tax shoes and get people out of shoes and into natural-only sandals.....'
For these eco fascist morons it will never stop. No cars, no bikes, no shoes, no homes, nothing. They won't be happy until the modern world is destroyed and the new Oracle of Delphi reigns ignorantly and fascistically supreme.
